St. Joseph's College Team

Good Shepherd Farm is the home of the St. Joseph's College Equestrian Team. The team
competes in IHSA horse shows. Riders do not need to have their own horses. Host colleges provide the horses and tack. Horses are then assigned randomly. Riders compete in classes for Walk Trot to Open Equitation.

The St. Joseph's Team won the IHSA Regional Championship in 2001 and again in 2010.
Throughout the years, our riders have qualified and placed many times in the National Championship. In their last competition of the 2014-2015 regular competition season, the team rose to the occasion and dominated the NYU-hosted event to capture the IHSA Zone 2 Region 4 Championship for 2015. In 2016, the team was able to repeat their performance and win the Region 4 Championship for the second year in a row.

This year, for 2018, St. Joseph's Intermediate rider Tiffany Baglio qualified for IHSA National Finals and will be heading to Harrisburg, PA to represent SJC in early May.
